I made this crazy, funky piece a few years ago and never tried to sell it. I started with an old horse-riding crop that was broken, but the wooden handle was really nice, so I just started adding baubles, beads, mirrors, old buttons made of glass and mother-of-pearl, pretty gold paper, crystals, glass nuggets, pearls, silky cords, tassels, and trinkets to make a fantastical "magic wand." Using copper foil and solder, I attached a large crystal to the top and gave it the name, Juju Stick. I'm offering it for sale now, because I know there's someone out there who NEEDS a magic wand! :)

A funny story goes with this piece. When I completed it, I took it to the library where my friend works to show her. When I told her it was my magic stick, she asked me to put a spell on her belly so that she could lose a couple of pounds there. A co-worker walked by and saw us and asked, "Are you trying to get pregnant?" We all got a good laugh out of that one. #magic #art #fantasticalart
